Today was our 2nd six weeks incentive reward field trip! We had a great day at the Cinema at Camp Landing! After watching We Are Marshall, we ate lunch at the food court. Students had a blast socializing and playing some games. We are already looking forward to the next six weeks' activity.

Tomorrow is the last day to order BMS holiday sweatshirts! Order forms can be turned in to your social studies teacher. If you lost your order form, just bring in your style and size and we'll record it for you.

Report cards go home today along with the attendance letter from the county. 8th grade students will also receive a letter from SVHS. Tomorrow is our second six weeks incentive reward field trip to the movies! Students can bring money for concessions & lunch, but we will be providing a bag lunch as well.

Today our seventh grade attended the Cyber Security Summit at Marshall University along with over 2,000 other local middle school students. They learned many important lessons about the use of technology and social media in today's world. Please speak with your students about their takeaways from the summit! We appreciate the superintendent providing this opportunity for our students!

Last Wednesday was World Kindness Day. Our students celebrated by posing in front of our new sign put together by Mr. Decker and his art class! #BetheIinKind

Tomorrow our seventh grade is attending the Cyber Safety Summit at Marshall University. They will leave after breakfast and return for lunch. Please see the attached document with more information about this event.

Each day their homeroom had opportunities to earn points, which included participation in spirit week, decorating their classroom door, completing a college scavenger hunt & college logo activity, and the completion of a daily quiz about different colleges in WV. I am excited to announce the winners of this year's BMS College Cup: 6th grade - Jenkins, 7th grade - Smith, 8th grade - Aldridge. These homerooms have won double intramurals for a day! Thanks to all who participated last week in all of our activities!
