Congratulations to our band students for a successful concert on December 18th. Two of our 8th grade students - Jace & Richard - also performed in Spring Valley's Jazz Band Concert!

Yesterday, eighth grade BMS students spoke with members of the Marshall men’s basketball team through a zoom meeting to discuss the Run with the Herd program. This program highlights the importance of setting goals, working hard, and being a strong member of the community.

Yesterday, we celebrated the holidays with a Holiday Hoopla event! Students visited stations, where they could participate in a cake walk, ornament creation, nail painting, card making, and bracelet creation. It was a great day with fun had by all!! On Friday, December 1st, we held our first incentive event of the year - Staff vs. Student Volleyball Tournament. Students were not only able to participate, but they also got free food and cotton candy! It was a great day full of fun, and we're already looking forward to the next incentive! Students must meet certain criteria to be eligible for the next reward. More photos will be posted on our Facebook page later today!

West Virginia history students learned more about WV's agriculture and how their future careers can affect farming and food production in our state. Afterwards they were able to take pictures with the interactive state seal display provided by the state department.

We have 2 baskets to raffle off from our Possum Palooza Craft/Vendor Fair. Both baskets are valued at well over $50 and include a variety of items from our amazing sellers. The drawing will take place at 1 PM this Friday, Dec 8th. Stop by the office to purchase tickets during school hours before the drawing. All proceeds benefit the 2024 Possum Festival!
